The WMUA does not consider that it has the duty, responsibility or obligation to provide water and sanitary sewer services to residents or businesses outside of its current service area.

There may, however, be situations where the WMUA, in its sole discretion, determines that water or sanitary sewer service may be extended to customers outside the existing service area. It is intended that these situations shall be rare and that any such extensions shall be undertaken only where the facts are compelling. Such extensions will be considered only when it is determined that they will not adversely affect the availability of a safe, adequate and dependable water supply or the capacity of the wastewater treatment facilities and that they in some manner benefit the WMUA.
